Mediatrope is proud to announce the launch of our most recent collaboration with the Smithsonian: a new site for the National Museum of the American Indian. Several years in the making, the new site completely reimagines NMAI's online presence. The new site features an extensive online store, offering visitors new access to NMAI retail products membership and donation opportunities. Behind the scenes, a powerful and flexible content management system allows NMAI staff to update site content and design elements.

Mediatrope's latest project for the Smithsonian takes top honor in new “Extended Experience” Category
San Francisco, Calif., May 13, 2007 - Mediatrope, the award-winning interactive studio, was selected by the American Association of Museums to receive the first-ever “Extended Experience” Gold award in the 2007 MUSE competition for its Interactive Digital Kiosks and Web site for the Luce Foundation Center for American Art. The MUSE awards honor innovative and creative use of technology in museums.
Mediatrope is proud to announce the launch of the new Collections Search Web site for Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, (NMAI). NMAI has a collection of over 800,000 objects but fewer than 1% are on display at any time, making the new site especially important in increasing the Museum's accessibility. Boston, MA— Mediatrope, the award-winning interactive studio, is proud to announce new electronic signage and interactive kiosks for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. These additions are part of a significant expansion and renovation project that includes enhancements to the current Museum space and the addition of a new wing. One of the main goals of this project is to improve the experience of visitors as they navigate through the building and encounter the exhibits in the galleries.
